I am trying to sewing a V-shaped panel from the bottom hem half way up the leg of a pair of blue jeans to make a pair of bell bottoms for a dance costume. I cannot seem to make the V come to a point. This is the 4th costume I have made in the last week and 1/2 and I think my brain is just sewn out. I know that this is simple and I sure hope that someone can explain it to me....
